BCPFA HIGH PERFORMANCE PROGRAM AND REGIONAL ACADAMY PROGRAM

BCPFA High Performance Program and Regional Academy is an off-season training opportunity for players interested in developing and enhancing football skills while working with coaches from different programs throughout the province.

The BCPFA identifies several teams each year to represent British Columbia in various competitions and championships. This is referred to as Team BC or the Provincial team.

Only players participating in a regional High Performance Centre (U16, U17, U18 or U19) or Regional Academy (U10, U12, U14) will be eligible for selection to teams representing the BCPFA. Additional fees apply.

Academy Age Eligibility

  • U19: 18 years of age on December 31st of the current year (grade 12)

  • U18: 17 & 16  years of age on December 31st of the current year (grade 10 & 11)

  • U16: 15 & 14 years of age on December 31st of the current year  (grade 8 & grade 9)

  • U14: 13 & 12 years of age on December 31st of the current year  (grade 6 & 7)

  • U12: 11 & 10years of age on December 31st of the current year (grade 4 & 5)

  • U10: 9 years of age on December 31st of the current year (grade 2 & 3)
     

Events/Competition Age Eligibility

  • U19 East/West Bowl

    • 18 years of age on December 31st of the current year

  • U18 Canada Cup

    • 17 & 16  years of age on December 31st of the current year 

  • U18 Selects

    • 17 & 16  years of age on December 31st of the current year 

  • U16 Western Regional

    • 15 & 14 years of age on December 31st of the current year

  • U14 Team BC Snoop Bowl

    • Under 14 as of July 31 of the current year

  • U12 Team BC Snoop Bowl

    • Under 12 as of July 31 of the current year

  • U10 Team BC Snoop Bowl

    • Under 10 as of July 31 of the current year


The BCPFA Regional High Performance Centres (U16, U17, U18) and Regional Academies U10, U12, U14) will commence on February 1st and registration covers to Regional Recruitment game and Team BC tryout (if selected).

REFUNDS from Regional Academy
Withdrawals from the program BEFORE the first training session will result in a 100% refund.

After the first training session and before March 1st, fees will be returned less a withdrawal fee.


After March 1st, 2023 no refunds will be issued (unless extenuating circumstances).

High Performance Centres (HPC) and Regional Academies (RA) training will commence on February 1st, 2023 with exact date and times varying by HPC or RA.

Vancouver Island

Vancouver Island North - Training will be held on Sundays in Nanaimo at NDSS field.

Vancouver Island South - Most training will be centralized in Langford.

 

Mainland & Valley

Vancouver North - Most training will be centralized on fields West of the Fraser River

Vancouver South - Most training will be centralized in Surrey

Okanagan

Okanagan - Most training will be centralized in Vernon.
