The under-16 East and West Regional Challenges help introduce players and coaches to tournament-style competition as they test their skills against neighbouring provinces. The events help athletes develop as they work towards the under-18 national tackle football championship, the Football Canada Cup, as well as national team competition.

The 2022 Western Challenge (U-16 Boys) will be hosted by the BCPFA at McLeod Stadium in Langley, B.C. from July 1-7, with games set for July 3 and 6.
